The roll out of the free footballs for Players aged 5, 6 or 7 in 2023, will happen as part of Newcastle Permanent’s partnership with Northern NSW Football (NNSWF), which has been extended to a 16th season.

Newcastle Permanent has sponsored the supply of footballs annually to entry-level players aged five, six or seven since 2008. More than 115,000 footballs have been distributed over that period to entry level players across Northern NSW.

Free footballs complement the overall affordability of the game for entry level players, especially if parents take advantage of the NSW government’s Active Kids Voucher.
